Himarë Beaches

Gjipe Beach and canyon when visiting the Riviera in southern Albania. It’s a remote beach surrounded by towering rock formations, and beautiful aquamarine waters of the Ionian Sea wash up on its shores. Gjipe is one of the area’s most famous beaches in the region, but less crowded due to limited ways to access it.

 

Jale Beach is famous its intensely azure sea water. A picture or a description of the clear azure water, cannot really describe how beautiful the sea water is at Jale. You simply must see it for yourself.

 

Livadhi Beach is a large beach within the municipality of Himara. The beach is located away from the new town, but right down the hill from the old town of Himara The beach is very popular among locals and visitors for its natural sand and beautiful surroundings.

 

Potam Beach is located near Spilia Beach and Himare Beach, in Albania. It borders Prinos Beach and Filikuri.

The beach is gradually immersed in the sky blue crystal clear sea. It is the most remote beach on the south side of Himara Bay.

It is one of the cleanest beaches on the Albanian Riviera because there are underground water sources that erupt from Mount Himara.

 

Dhermi Beach is becoming a favorite for summertime travelers on the Albanian Riviera and all over Europe! The stunning views and welcoming party vibe mix perfectly with a family vacation atmosphere. There are plenty of things to do in Dhermi Albania, and most of them involve the beautiful beach.

Palasa Beach is a long a wide beach west of the village of Palasa. It’s also the northernmost beach of the Albanian Riviera, just south of the Ceraunian Mountains. The surroundings are really beautiful with a skyline of mountains and the Llogara Pass on the mainland, and the Ionian Sea with it’s clear blue water on the other side.

 

Orikum Beach is located in the eponymous town of Orikum, near the city of Vlora, Albania. It is a public and free beach located in an urban zone, among the mountains.

It is several kilometers long and 40 meters wide. It is covered with gravel. The sea is crystal clear turquoise.

The beach is arranged and organized. On the beach there are showers, toilets, numerous restaurants and cafes and you can rent deck chairs and umbrellas.

 

Radhime, an ancient settlement of the third and second century BC, is located south of the city of Vlora.

The rich history and wonderful nature make Radhime one of the most liked attractions in Albania. The antiquity of this settlement was authenticated in 1965 when various furnishings such as earrings, necklaces, and gold ornamented bracelets were discovered in the 3rd century BC.
