These are known as the thermal baths of The Oblast and are 14 km from the city of Permet. In the municipality of Petran, there are 6 springs within range of massive rocks on both sides of the Lengaric River. The way to go to these natural monuments is through the automotive itineraries of The Përmet-Petran-Bënjë. Sulphur-based waters have very high curative effects of which 4 sources are used for chronic rheumatism disease, another for stomach disease, and the last for skin disease.
The thermal mineral waters of Bënja have been studied from an analytical-scientific point of view and their chemical content. Researchers value them as sources of sulfates, with a high content of bicarbonate of soda. According to them, these springs are special, not only because they are hot waters, but they contain dissolved mineral substances, which give them color, taste and therapeutic properties.
