If you are visiting Tirana for a few days and you want to explore the wild beauty of Tirana surroundings and looking for a serious shot of adrenaline, the best thing to do is to jump into this day tour. This destination offers an amazing view of wild mountains mixed with the green color of the lake, creating a spectacular hiking and a little bit of rock climbing experience to the rock on top of the Bovilla track. We will enjoy a picnic lunch with the great view. Don’t forget to wear your comfortable walking shoes! We will be back in Tirana in the afternoon. We will meet in the morning at 09:00 AM and start our trip to the Bovilla lake. The road is about 24.4 km distance where half of it is off-road. We will look at the suburban neighborhoods of Tirana where you will see a very different lifestyle from the city. We drive up the lake dam and after we reach Bovilla Lake we prepare to hike in Gamti mountain. The track to hike is a simple level where every step gives us a more beautiful view as we reach the top. Hiking lasts about 40 minutes. On the top of the hill, there is an impressive view of the lake and the green hills surrounding it. Time to rest, to enjoy the gorgeous view, to play with each other, to talk and to eat food under the shadows of the cave. Returning to the same track takes about 30 minutes. The food can be packed with you like a picnic to enjoy when we arrive. We have a short stop at the river below the dam where the formed canyons are unique and, if you want, you can swim in the freshwater of the river. After all this adventure, we are ready to return to Tirana.
