Description:
The interior is relatively plain when compared to other Orthodox churches. The interior walls are white as the Bishop’s throne is carved out of white marble. A beautiful chandelier, an altar with iconostasis, a pulpit and decorative wooden chairs instead of pews. The exterior is white and has a tall bell tower. It has a large patio with a water fountain and a long side porch.
The Church of Saint Charalambos (Kisha e Shën Harallambit) is the largest orthodox church in Saranda and is prominently located at the beachfront boulevard.
