Along the Albanian Riveria lies a small coastal town of Himara. It’s one of the must-see stops as it is more peaceful than the seaside city of Saranda and a perfect base to relax in without getting too bored. There’s plenty of things to do in Himare city and lots of things to see nearby too. It is rich with castles, chapels, monasteries, fortresses, and beautiful beaches. Himara is found in Vlorë County in Southern Albania, surrounded by high mountains on one side and the Ionian Sea on the other.
