Elbasan is a city and a municipality in the middle of Albania. Its central location is the reason it is sometimes referred to as “Kërthiza e Shqipërisë” (The Bellybutton of Albania). The city is known for its famous castle and also very famous desert called in Albanian: “Ballokume”, which the people originated from Elbasan make as a tradition and specialty for Summers Day
