The valley of Zagoria stretches from 160 to 900 meters and is one of the largest valleys in the region. It has a varied relief, sometimes it widens and sometimes it narrows, it creates canyons and amazing landscapes. A beautiful trail stretches from Gjirokastra along th valley and continues up this mountain (Çajupi road) to the rest of the northwestern part of Zagoria.
The road continues east and south through the valley, but then becomes hard and impassable except by 4×4 vehicles. The Pogon Valley stretches around the Suha River, surrounded by high peaks: Nemercka (2485m), Bureto (1766m) and Makrikambo (1676m).
